An engineer by training, I’ve worked as a marketer my entire career. I’ve run marketing at a number of startups including Infobright, DataMirror (acquired by IBM), Janna Systems (acquired by Siebel Systems), Sitraka (acquired by Quest software), Watcom (acquired by Sybase). I’ve also been a marketing exec at few larger companies where I’ve focused on launching and growing new product lines including IBM, Nortel and Siebel Systems.
For the past 5 years I have been focused on teaching B2B startups to do better marketing that drives revenue. My focus is on showing early stage companies how to better understand their market segmentation, how to build a marketing plan that drives leads, and how to better align their sales and marketing efforts.
