It is for exactly that reason that this reporter had been getting away with that sort of poor behavior. The fact is that I wasn't representing a product/service. That isn't what I do at all. The fact that I am in marketing is actually coincidental to the story. Had I been representing another company I would have probably done exactly what other have done in the past and not complained at all or if I felt very strongly, complained to his management directly. (Also saw your comment wondering why this one wasn't posted yet.
